Keshoo Bai (Krishna Lal) is Social Activist basically. She belongs from the most backward desert areas of Southern Sindh, the Nangarparkar. She got her primary education from Talhi District Umerkot. She passed her Matriculation from Chamber District Tando Allahyar. She got her Intermediate from Girls College Qasimabad Hyderabad. She completed her Graduation from Sindh University Jamshoro.
She started her social activities in 2005 by organizing and participating different seminars at Tharparkar. She was selected for third Mehergarh Human Rights Youth Leadership Training Camp 2nd July – 25th August 2007 at Islamabad. During Eight week residential training she covered an overview of people’s movements in the world, history of social movements in Pakistan and a through understanding of the governance system of the country. In addition she learnt strategic planning and tools for bringing social change. After completing Mehergarh training camp she voluntarily worked with Mehergarh under its Youth Civil Action Program to identify the cases of Bonded Labour, conducted case studies focusing women under Bondage. Organized workshops and seminars on the issue of Bonded Labour and assisted for preparation of documenrties on the issue. She was given task of establishing network of Mehergarh Graduates through mailing group.
She also played an active role and coordinated for arranging different seminars for AASHA (Alliance against Sexual Harassement at Workplace). She highlighted violence incidents against women and arranged different rallies to condemn the injustices against women. She also wrote columns in different newspapers regarding women rights.
She participated in Youth Parliament of Pakistan Training workshops and became member of this Social group for youth leadership.
AASHA Network succeeded in doing important legislationin in the constitution of in the shape of Women Protection Bill. For its implemantion AASHA Legal Aid Centers were established throughout the country. She was appointed Counselor / Incharge AASHA Legal Aid Center Hyderabad on May-1, 2010 and worked till end of project i.e. 29 February 2012.
She was appointed as program manager at DAMAN Hyderabad on May-1, 2013 to up to date.
She selected in National Lobbying Delegation ’NLD’ for minorities rights in Pakistan from June 2015 to up to date.
