A noisy goose being tipped from a box,
Both giddy and cautious at the same time,
Once bitten by a predatory fox,
Innocent curiosity sublime,

Twin sapphire stars brightiy sprinkle blue sparks,
Graceful when gentle yet fierce when annoyed,
Drawn to rivers and lakes in woodland parks,
Preferably somewhere troubles avoid,

Softly sighing wrapped warm under my wing,
Do you realise that your own wings have healed,
Do you mourn when you hear wild urges sing,
Do you freely choose to share this green field?

Tucked away where birds and dragonflys dart,
Do you know the joy you bring to my heart?
