Antec 1200 Side Panel Mod
1 Views • Jul 14, 2011
Description
Here I show how I made a large "Storm Shadow" logo for the Antec 1200 side panel. I used 3/32" 6061 aluminum and cut it out with an old style CNC machine. It will be mounted on the side panel using standoffs with red LED's on the underside illuminating it.
Old Style CNC Machine = zip grinder, jigsaw, scroll saw, drill press, and lots of hand filing....lol
I originally thought this project would be quick and simple, was I wrong..... simple yes, but was far from being quick. I probably invest 20 manhours to complete this portion of the mod. Then probably another 20 hrs to video and edit.
But like I said in the video there is nothing more rewarding then creating something from your two hands.
I am very please the way it turned out, know all I need to do is figure the best way to mount it.
