Claude Debussy's score introduces this piece . It is about a a Gothic Romance , set about in the 1960's . I think of myself as a Symbolist Filmmaker , working in a Dark Romantic Style . Dark here takes the meaning being on off shoot of the Symbolists - being the Decadents and can even be an off shoot of the original Goths . That is were the second score or music can be mentioned . It is from the Internet Archive and is The Lord's Prayer sung in Albanian . The story is about this couple , the young man - has done too much tripping , he's eventually institutionalized . There he is mistreated , abused and killed . He is left on the roadside , an unknown , dead . Meanwhile the young lady who is really into the Goth thing gets a kind of premonition that her lover is dead . A white dove passes her during a full moon . This signifies to her that her soul mate , her earthly love has come to an end . She does what any good goth would do . She mixes potions first , pours them in the sea , and eventually drowns herself , as was prevalent in the Symbolist era , the Romantic era of the late 19th century . She therefore is not a lost soul as most suicides would be . Actually what she concocted was to be raised from the dead .
