I wake to a new day,
but why?
Nothing has changed,
the hurt, the pain still lingers.
I look down on the note,
still wet with my tears.
Farewell! Farewell!
The only words written.
My love has fled,
and so my life.
Memories of love past,
tortures.
I am draw into a vortex of dispair.
Finally, day wends to night.
I lie down and wait,
for a new day to come.
But why?
