Where is your heart?
kneeling in a lovers hands
soaring across the stars
infested in an art
perhaps it dances with passion
where is your heart?
resting under your pillow
maybe beneath snow flakes in winter
on the floor bruised and broken
or locked in a closet of dreams
where is your heart?
floating on the sea of hope
fighting the good fight
or hanging with hate
maybe its just in the petty of things
but, where is your heart?

P.S. put your heart into something good
rather than just behind your chest!
