Open with a wild sip
read and feel the heart rip
as our time slip

we sit and waste
without dreams to face
fears to chase

feel my eyes shed ocean waters
it is my doubt that bothers
my ego alters

now I am heartless
so much stress
death seems easy access

now I think too much
love please touch
bars of strength I clutch

a prisoner of my mind
my own fate I co-signed
wish I could rewind

but here we are
doesn't the joy feel so far
uncontent with who we are

what am I searching for?
seems like I always need more
can't wait for God to pour

fill your own cup
feelings erupt
my friend we shall never give up!
