Where is the hope I once seemed to possess
Has it disappeared, or was it never there
I don’t know right now I must confess
It’s hard to tell if people act or people care
I don’t know what’s going to become of this
And I wonder why God should be trusted
Because of him and this plan of his
My heart is now broken and busted
I don’t know what to do
I can’t see where to turn
I don’t deserve you
Only to burn
