In your eyes
I see a light
A light that shines
Through my soul
Darkness surrounds me
My belief and faith
Are strong
I have spoken to you
Everyday for years
And I will for years to come
There has been plenty of
ups and downs
I know you are near
So I am not scared
Looking towards you
For guidance and truth
So make my life
A little easier
Knowing you are always
On my side
I can be myself
No need to be fake
You protect me
From evil’s face
Making my world
A better place
So no darkness can not enter here
