Can you hear me?
You are so far away
Please come near
You have gone a stray
You were forced to leave
For one reason or another
Although I’m still here
Bleeding in the heart
My soul feels lost
for you have disappeared

Can you see me?
From where you are
When you close your eyes
Am I near or far
I want you to see me
For who I am
Someone to love
And to hold your hand
Through out your life
I can help you stand

Can you touch me?
Far away from where you are
With words in letters
My heart you may touch
words that you write
A loss of breath
I’m waiting
For your words to caress
Making me yearn for more
Letters from you
Where ever you are

Can you taste me?
The tears I weep
My brain runs rapid
My thoughts are deep
When our lips touch
To feel you in my arms
My tears will flow
Until you return

Can you smell me?
My perfume on the wind
I am sending to you
With love till the end
I am here for you
Always and forever
My soul mate
My friend
Everyday forever
I pray for more
Upon your return
I’ll know for sure
If it is meant to be
I am still waiting
Are you returning to me
