An Astrologer's Day

A short fiction film for graduation project.
The film is based on a short story, An Astrologer’s Day by R. K. Narayan from Malgudi Days. The story revolves around an incident in the astrologer’s life back in the village, which made him flee away to a new village to start a new life with his loving wife. It takes its turn when the astrologer meets a man back from his village on his regular day.
The film gets its comic and Bollywood touch from the way the characters have been developed in an era completely different from the original story of Malgudi times.
