Amitava Sur - A Flight

A Flight
============

A colorful kite was I
Made out of glittering hues,
With green, blue and white
A lovely colorful kite.

So loving and happy was I,
Being cared, nurtured and loved,
With the thread of love being knotted,
I was flown in blue sky.

Fluttering and roaming there
With white clouds and birds,
Playing hide and seek with them
Being knotted with the thread of my loved.

The pleasure and joy we had
With the combined effort of us,
Both of our hearts being content
With the sublime beauty of life! !

With a sudden shake and jerk
The thread I found to be torn.
I'm floating away
Being out of sight and forlorn! ! !

Knowing nothing about it
I am being whisked away,
But I cannot forget you
Cannot dream even but you! !

Where ever I am being drawn
Even I am forlorn,
I am always with you
As earlier I was.

Kite is no more in sight
Love thread is winded up on wheel,
The symphony is broken
An utter silence ….. all around! ! .
