Amitava Sur - Black out

The sun has not risen today
The grasses did not have dews,
The flowers did not bloom today
Since they couldn't see -
My beloved's smiling face.


Moon is not casting
Any of her light today,
The stars did not arrive
To blink in the sky today.


The whole sky is covered
With a pitch dark blanket.
How can they celebrate
While the princess is deep asleep! !
