"America's Amazon"

The Mobile-Tensaw Delta in Alabama is biodiversity treasurer. This region has more species of plants and animals than anywhere in North America. Alabama has more species of fish than any other state, as many species of salamander in the world, and the largest number of turtle species than anywhere on earth. The region is also home to the world greatest concentration of carnivorous plants. This area is unique to say the least.
