It is an artist grade, no yellowing, permanent, water dilutable paint, which dries quickly and with a satin-matt finished aspect. Contrast to gouache it is a water resistant paint, it is a great alternative to acrylic or oil solvent paint. Colours are luminous and most of them are made with only one pigment.
