i look in your eyes and i wonder what you've seen
i listen to your words and i wonder what they mean
i lay down and you're in my dreams
when i look at you, my heart beams.
these words i'll never say
though i scream them in my mind everyday
i'm a moment away
from getting up and saying hey.
i know how i feel
and i know it's real
without you, i can't heal
only the one who inflicts the pain can take it away, that's the deal.
the sun shines brighter when you smile
my heart explodes and i'm in denial
it's been a long, long while
with you, my shattered heart is feeling reconciled.
your eyes are green leaves
blowing in the wind, so beautiful i can't believe
brown in your eyes like the bark on trees
around you, it's so much easier to breathe.
you're so lovely and wonderful
in every way, you are beautiful
you are the music in my soul
if i ever lose you, in my heart will remain a mendless hole...
