sometimes it hurts
to feel like dirt
to have your heart ripped out
when no one can hear your shouts
sometimes it hurts too much
so you close yourself off to any touch
and when you pain another
dont you know that agony will smother
when you cry alone at night
you have difficulty seeing the light
despite all of this
you must find your bliss
find what makes you strong
then youll discover where you belong
life is here
behind the tears
i understand the pain
but the answer you will soon gain
when youre thrownb in the dirt
sometimes it hurts.
