Aircon Servicing (also known as General Aircon Service, One Time Aircon Service or Ad Hoc Aircon Service by different service providers) is a process of cleaning the various parts of the fan coil including the evaporator coil, air blower, drainage tray, drainage air filter, external cover etc..The drainage pipe, evaparator coil and its surroundings are cleaned onsite using an industrial vacuum, brush and cloth whereas the rest of the parts are brushed and rinsed with water to remove the dust. Lubricants are applied on the parts if required. Normally 2 technicians would take about 20 to 30 minutes to complete the whole cleaning process.
The frequency of performing this kind of cleaning depends on how often you switch on your fancoil and how dusty the operating environment is. For residential usage, we would advise a quarterly maintenance. Normally it is cheaper to sign a maintenance contract for periodic maintenance as the pricing is normally cheaper.
