You loved lemon cake and lemonade,
With no sugar, so the bitter wouldn’t fade.
You loved lemon pie and ice cream,
You were an interesting guy, talking about lemons in your dreams.
You loved the lemons, it’s true,
I’m afraid it has turned into you.
Now you are so bitter and full of anger too,
We had to part, but it is true,
My Lemon, your cherry is still thinking of you.
