We are reminded that if we are believers, then we are priests under the New Covenant, and that therefore we have many wonderful privileges. One great privilege that we have is access to God. We see that: * Under the Old Covenant, access to God was very limited, * Now, believers have unrestricted access to God through a new and living way, and * We must take full advantage of this privilege by drawing near to God, by holding fast to our confession and by seeking to spur one another on to love and good deeds. We can do all these things by meeting together for mutual encouragement.
