Aberystwyth flags, new flags added, old flags removed

New flags have been added to the Aberystwyth Seafront, including the flags of Kashubia, Soriba, Vlach and Romani. These fly alongside other minority flags, such as the Friuli flag, as well as flags of larger countries including Germany, the United States and Belgium. (Additional flags may be shown in another video.)

To make space for the new flags, some old flags have been taken down, including the Latvian flag and the Estonian flag.

Flags which don't appear along the promenade include the Russian and Ukrainian flag. Perhaps it's not a good time with the current conflict, or perhaps it is.

Ptara, an Aberystwyth based production company, has made a film about that conflict, called "The United States and Ukraine" http://ukrainedocumentary.com
