A Special Call

A Special Call
«O you who believe, when the call is made for prayer on Friday, then hasten to the remembrance of Allah and leave off trade. That is better for you, if only you knew.» ⑨
This is not an ordinary call…
This is a summons from heaven.
Allah did not say:
When you finish your business, then come.
Nor did He say:
When your tasks are done, then turn toward Him.
Rather, He said:
«When the call is made for prayer»
So the moment that call is raised…
excuses fall away,
the noise of the world fades,
and only one voice remains worthy of rising above all others in the heart:
the call of Allah.
