A Journey to Heaven

This special video was taken back in December of 2020.

As I stepped outside with my morning coffee, the fog was so thick that I could not see across the street.
That's when I decided to go ahead and send the drone up in the sky, just to see how thick the fog layer was and what it looked like from above.

Once the drone popped up from the fog at about 385 ft elevation, I could not believe my eyes.

It was one of the most spectacular views I had ever seen in my life. I immediately became engulfed with goosebumps as I flew around the top of the cloud I seemed to be sitting on on top of.

The sky was perfectly clear from that vantage point, and the sun was shining bright.

As I dipped back into the fog, and rose up again into the clarity, it almost seemed as if I was getting the first visual of what heaven looks like.

After flying for several minutes, I was excited to come back inside and pull up the footage I had captured onto my computer.

I was in complete shock when I saw it on the bigger screen. It was so much more spectacular than I had even thought, based on the view from my remote/cellphone.

After going through the footage for awhile, I then went through multiple soundbytes to determine an appropriate audio overlay to incorporate into the film.

After watching the completed project again and again, and sharing it with those around me, that is when I decided on the name.
