A Doctor & His Patience

Dr. Dan Vicario is an oncologist whose moving advocacy of his patients was very impressive to me. This piece provides the inside story of health insurance company denial of care that is so pervasive everywhere, but especially in California. If I ever get cancer, he's my doc, I'll tell you that. He is a wonderful, spiritual man, and I so respect his caring for and understanding of the needs of patients.
