This documentary has a purpose to try create a vivid image of the conditions surrounding the community of the Roma minority in Bulgaria. It does not aim to provide solutions or be thoroughly objective, merely to be used as a visual aid to establish a ground for discussion.

The independent project "The Real Roma Community" includes a report with officially presented data from research findings by renown Bulgarian sociologists. The paper is included in the "notes" section of this Facebook page for further reference. The paper includes quantitative data for the historical presence of the Roma's on the Bulgarian geographical area and criticizes the mass media as a 'push' and 'supporter' of stereotypes and prejudices.
