838 Retreat Glider Training

While I was at the 838system.com annual staff retreat we went out and took glider lessons.

It was pretty cool to experience. Very interesting. You just basically float around surfing air currents and swells.

Apparently there are always swirls that you can surf under the clouds.

They say it takes about 30 hours in the air to get your glider license and you can get that done in about 2 solid weekends!

The area is on the northern tip on Michigan.
