8 Year Old Running Phenom

8 year old Katarina Nikolovski had an incredible running year. As a member of the Calumet Region Striders (CRS) and Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA), Katarina competed in 20 plus races and finished with a perfect 100% CRS Score, winning the CRS Gold Cup for her age group. What's more phenomenal is that she competed in the Indy Mini 500 Half-Marathon, largest half-marathon in the USA with 35,000 runners. At 8, Katarina not only finished the raced but she qualified for preferred seeding in 2012. She will start the Indianapolis race in 2012 with some of the best runners in the country and world.
