66 A Most Likely to Bow Down Before Public Litigation
Description
With the Maharashtra Police making it clear it will most likely drop the case against the two girls from Palghar arrested for a post on Facebook, the central government has also issued guidelines to states to curb the misuse of section 66 A of the IT act, under which the two girls were arrested in the first place. Attorney General Vahanvati will reply to the PIL against this section in the Supreme Court today.
