47 Maoists surrender in Bastar

Bastar (Chhattisgarh), June 15 (ANI): At least 47 Maoists have surrendered before police in Chhattisgarh. Out of the 47 ultras, four had bounty on their heads. Dash said a total of 340 Maoists had surrendered in Bastar district since the launch of 'Mission 2016', a state-sponsored programme to end Maoism. The surrendered ultras would be rehabilitated as per the policy laid down by the government.
