John Paul turns to Doug for solace as he is forced to evaluate his future. The pair get drunk and end up sticking post-its all over Patrick's car, unaware they're being photographed by Cal and Robbie. One passionate kiss later, and the pair find themselves back at Doug's flat for a whole lot more...

The following day, things seem to be on the up for John Paul when neither he nor Doug have any regrets about the previous night. His happiness is short lived however, when he is again suspended from work after Patrick discovers the truth behind the prank. In a moment of despair, John Paul finds himself taking Matthew and getting on a bus, away from life in Hollyoaks.
