To play this game well you need to depend on the rest of the five and vice versa. If a team excels it is because all six are able to move in a timely coordinated manner. As a team or an individual, volleyball is about mastering the art of timing. If you are a split second too early gravity makes your float in the air short for the ball. A nanosecond too late, you will spike the ball into the net.

Sometimes being a friend is also about mastering this art. There is a time for silence. A time to let go and allow people to hurl themselves into their own destiny. And a time to prepare to pick up the pieces when it’s all over.

Six souls moving in perfect synchrony in the court is going to build bonds that can last a lifetime. Like the erosion of the telomere of a chromosome, bonds can erode over time. Like all that comes before, the VBmovies I created are telomerase. Today I present 2015 – When We Were Young

This video is dedicated to all my Volleyball buddies. It is inspired by Adele25, fuelled by passion for the game and driven by the urge to reaffirm friendships amongst us.

Friends we may be. Each of us has our own destiny. Someday when destiny reigns, it will even be more soul moving and meaningful when you view this movie again.
