The Italian Y-40 Deep Joy pool at the Hotel Terme Millepini is the record holder for worlds deepest pool. The Pool was opened on June 5th, new with a 40 meter or 131-foot deep pool containing 4,300 cubic meters / 1,136,000 US gallons of water. This beat out the Nemo 33 pool in Belgium for the world record. There are several platforms at several depths and a transparent underwater tunnel for people to spectate on the divers. The deepest plunge goes straight down 40 meters, earning it the name Y-40. \r
