Zoe Schwab - Waves

ripples of an emerald green guitar.
waves in the wood grains breaking white at the crest,
sinking deep at the trough,
farther apart as the
amplitude grows, shaking my guitar,
her curves deserving of a renaissance panting.
both strumming the strings and floating with the waves,
sonic and watery. i am tumbling and tumbled,
salty and fresh and cold.
