Night brings forth a distant world
Of my many hidden dreams
With every silent step unfurled
Now nothing heard but screams

I sit beneath my shadow here
Peering over what I knew
Hiding behind the hidden fear
Of what I know is true

The chilly winds and vicious night
Test my will and love of life
Within this courage lives the fright
This bleeding heart your jagged knife

Shadows dance upon my wall
An eerie sound within your voice
I close my eyes and hope to fall
In sinking darkness do rejoice
