The past is the past
We can never go back
Be thankful for what you have
For it might be your last
Lessons are learned
Backs are turned
Kisses are missed
Enemies exist
Whether the past be good or bad
Life moves on with what you don't have
Happy memories are what we all want
Later in life it becomes a haunt
Life moves on
And so must we
Without a past
There'd be no key
No key to life to unlock the lock
No point in living if we all stopped the clock
Everyone has time
And time never ends
We've got to live through life
And all just pretend
Pretend nothing bugs us
The past is nothing now
We will all move on
And make it through somehow
