You were my best friend
I didn't think there'd be an end
I thought we'd be friends forever
But no
You really think that was clever?
You would put a smile on my face
But now I feel like I've been erased
You made me feel wanted
And left me wanting more
I couldn't feel anymore happy
I had got what I'd asked for
I was really falling for you
Thinking all of this was true
Instead I had been betrayed
You have left me here to decay
I fell for you
But I didn't have a clue
This love that I was feelin'
Had always been untrue
At first I was confused
But then I thought it through
You didn't really love me
All this time I was used
My heart is now empty
My feeling is numb
I can't believe that I was so dumb
All by myself with nowhere to turn
Is this what I have earned?
You made me feel loved
And then I was shoved
Shoved aside and completely lost
Feeling like trash that had been tossed
I refuse to talk anymore
For you now have a new girl to adore.
