Anger over a court verdict spills onto San Francisco streets.

Protesters marched on Saturday after a Florida jury acquitted George Zimmerman of shooting dead unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin.

The verdict supported Zimmerman's account that he was acting in self-defence - a ruling that shocked many, including civil rights leader Rev. Jesse Jackson.

(SOUNDBITE) (ENGLISH) CIVIL RIGHTS LEADER, REV. JESSE JACKSON, SAYING:

"I am very disappointed by the verdict. They said Zimmerman was not guilty. He was guilty of murdering an unarmed boy going home alone attending to his business."

Martin's cousin said his family was coping with the pain.

(SOUNDBITE) (ENGLISH) TRAYVON MARTIN'S COUSIN, SAQUAN JONES, SAYING:

"My family will forever be in emotional unrest. This isn't over. But one thing that we must do to alleviate that pain, to try to alleviate that pain and palliate it, is to pray."
