Zelensky Directs Extensive Strikes on Russian Installations

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that Ukraine will initiate preemptive attacks on Russian installations that aid Moscow's military operations. The Ukrainian government indicates that the offensive will focus on ammunition storage facilities, military manufacturing locations, oil and gas systems, logistical corridors, and crucial communication centers. Recent strikes have reportedly impacted the Orenburg gas facility, situated over 1,200 kilometers from the frontline, as well as satellite communication stations close to Moscow. Additionally, Reuters has reported a 13.5% decline in Russia's oil product output year-on-year for May. Ukraine aims to compel Russia to pursue peace negotiations.
