Zahid: Anwar will never be PM

Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has predicted that PKR president Anwar Ibrahim will not be the nation's next prime minister.
In his speech to officiate the Parit Buntar Umno division meeting in Perak today, Zahid said this is because certain Harapan leaders have denied the existence of a two-year deadline set for Anwar to be made prime minister.
Previously, Dr Mahathir pledged to hand the reins to Anwar, although no timeline has been set.
Both have repeatedly been hounded over the transition plan since Pakatan Harapan unseated BN in May 2018.
