Zafiro Grace - Our Star

Brightest star, you are.
Light years away but yet, shining so radiantly.
Some days, I feel you so close, within the realm of the universe.
My universe.
My longing for your warm embrace has left my soul empty.
Like a black dwarf, icy and hollow.
But how does that matter now, since you're so far away and my heart is kept far from your gaze.

Do you remember the days my body and soul were still one?
I loved you, endlessly.
Remember how we use to spend countless nights, laying on the misty grass of your backyard staring up the heavens?
How you'd always be awed by the majestic blanket of un-named stars or stars with no identity (as you preferred) .
We would outline images formed by the milky lining of the twinkling diamonds, with our fingers.
Hands interlocked and you'd kiss my forehead whenever I said it was getting a little too cold.
And soon after we fell in love, you named a star after me.
It then became our star, our identity.

The day came, quickly.
The day we celebrated the end of draw backs and returns.
The day all our worries and love, ceased.
The day the stars called me home.
The day I reunite with our star.

Cry, not. Please.
I wish I could wipe all those tears away and all those memories and laughter's with it.
Take it far away, perhaps light years away from where you are.
Some days, I wish you were here. The stars don't look tiny from where we were
They're massive and burns like endless desire but still beautiful.

Before, I close my eyes and submit myself to eternal slumber; there is one thing you should know.
I love you, still and always will. Endlessly.
You are love.
Love, your names hides behind but yet love so profound, love itself cannot be defined.
You don't know and perhaps never will be able to comprehend how my universe is, without you.
But till the day the stars destines us again, here I'll wait in solitude and with love.
