Only fun when young - sonnet


I miss the days when I was a young boy
Life then seemed easy and free of care
I miss playing in the sand with a joy
When I was young I use to hug my bear


So care free while having a lot of fun
Everything seemed to be so simple like
In Summer days I played under the sun
In Fall I felt joy as I flu my kite


Full with memories I want to have back
I wish to ride my bike with old buddies
Fun as a young child is something I lack
Now I am fed up with endless studies

Childhood is a time I would like to revive
Since I need to find a way to survive
