History

Events roll the tiles of time
We pass through day and night
Seasons come and go
Empires rise and fall
Fortunes change hands

We witness periods of prosperity
We witness periods of suffering
We fight wars and battles
We reconcile and agree

As we aspire for a better world
Time creates our history
Time makes us relevant
Time makes us irrelevant
It teaches us who we are
It re-makes our fortunes and future
Fulfilling the promise of the Supreme Being

History is a reminder that nothing lasts forever
History is always in the making
