John Authers analyses a dramatic day on Wall Street following a largely expected rate rise by the Federal Reserve. First the projection that the Fed would raise rates three times next year, and then a surprisingly hawkish press conference by Janet Yellen, prompted a sharp sell-off for the Treasury bonds, and a massive rally for the dollar which brought it to its strongest levels in more than a decade.
