Yellen Predicts More Inflation

On Thursday, US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said that she expects “several more months of high inflation” before things settle down. According to the chairman of the Fed, Jerome Powell, this is following a 5.4% increase in the consumer price index in June and an announcement that interest rates will not increase.
