Yeh Raat - sad song

Gopal's (Vinod Khanna) life is haunted by the tragedies of his past, in which his elder sister Sita and his younger brother Jagan were abducted by goons and his mother died of shock. He grows up under the wings of a poor yet humble, Kedar Miya, who wishes Gopal to become a doctor. While studying medicine, Gopal crosses paths with rich and arrogant, Radha (Shabana Azmi) and after several clashes Radha falls in love with Gopal. But plauged by his past and hellbent on revenge, Gopal has no place for love. He is in desperate search to locate the goons and find his family. Gopal encounters Gulshan (Prem Chopra), one of the abductors and from thereon begins a tale of sordid vengence. How will Gopal decimate the people responsible for ruining his family?
