The year that Captain Marvel is set in has been confirmed.
According to Disney’s Japanese website, Carol Danvers will be "descending from the sky" in 1995.
ComicBook.com reports, Danvers, played by Brie Larson, rocks a Nine Inch Nails t-shirt in one of Entertainment Weekly’s exclusive photos.
Perhaps she took time off from saving the world to catch their 1995 tour with David Bowie.
Knowing the film will take place in 1995 helps establish the overall ‘90s MCU timeline for fans.
