Yangon demonstrators hold spring flower protest

A group of demonstrators in Yangon held a flower protest on Thursday as a symbol of defiance against the military junta's violent crackdown on anti-coup protesters.
Myanmar security forces fired at pro-democracy activists taking part in street demonstrations on Thursday, killing at least four people, news reports said. The four were killed in the town of Taunggyi in central Myanmar, according to the Myanmar Now news portal .
