Don't ask me any questions.
Don't tell me any lies.
Don't search for any answers
To the questions in my eyes.
You'll never know who I am inside.
You'll never know me.
You'll never know the reason that I hide,
Or the reason that I cry.
Because the hurt I have is more than you can take;
I don't want you to feel.
I don't know how to feel the same.
I can't tell you truth is real.
Those words ring hollow in my ears.
To me it's like you're screaming
All my deepest fears.
How can you see past my sin?
How can you see through my scars?
The broken parts-
The hollow smiles,
They're not because of you.
They're not because the way you laugh,
Or how I feel with you.
I'm afraid that I love you.
I'm afraid to know it's true.
I think I'm moving on
From being scared of you.
