Xolobeni community welcomes ruling

The people of Xolobeni in the Eastern Cape are celebrating their court victory over the Mineral Resources Department. The high court declared that communities affected by mining activities have a right to see applications for licences. The community says having access to information will allow people a chance to decide if they want the mining to continue.
