WSU seeks interdict to remove students

The Walter Sisulu University is seeking a court interdict to remove students from its Mthatha, Butterworth and East London campuses. The institution closed its doors following violent protests which have resulted in damage to property including the torching of a police vehicle. The university says it continues to engage with the SRC, but the 2021 academic year is now under threat. The institution remains closed until further notice. Courtesy #DStv403
